2016年2月6日、大地震が台湾南部を襲いました。
沢山の皆さんが犠牲になられ、被災されてしまいました。
特に台南の皆さんは多大な被害を受けられました。
台湾はここ数年台風被害、高雄ガス爆発、汚染油問題、新北の爆発事故等々
様々な悪しき出来事が起き
その度に大変な思いをされてきました。
日本を襲った東日本大震災...
その時にいち早く多大な援助をしてくださったのが台湾の皆さんでした。
沢山の思いを僕達に届けて下さいました。
僕も、出演させて頂いた台湾映画「KANO」をきっかけに
台湾の皆さんに沢山の愛情を頂き “皆さんにいつか恩返しをしたい”
ずっとそう思い続けていました。
その思いはこれからも変わりません。
今回の大地震で、ここ数年の不幸な出来事で、大変な思いをされた皆さんに
《モノを作る立場にいる僕達なりのやり方で 作品に思いを乗せ、台湾の皆さんに届けたい》
そう思い立ち今回Web ギャラリーを立ち上げさせて頂きました。
賛同して頂いた沢山の素晴らしいアーティストの皆さんに
心から感謝致します。
皆さんがいらっしゃらなかったらこのギャラリーは成立しませんでした。
また当ギャラリーを訪れて頂いた皆さんにも
感謝致します。
台湾の皆さんに沢山の思いが届きます様に。

2016年2月6日，猛烈的地震襲.了台灣南部，
造成許多的傷亡與嚴重的災情，其中又以台南的受災程度最為慘重。
過去幾年台灣接連受到颱風侵襲，也發生了諸如高雄瓦斯氣爆，
引起大.關注的食安問題，以及新北市的八仙塵暴等各種重大事件。
回想至此，不禁讓人想起幾年前的某個天災、、、
五年前發生於日本東北的311大地震、、、
當時台灣的朋友們在第一時間，迅速地提供了日本許多的援助。
無論是金錢，或者是各種物資與人力的等實質上的援助，
這一切都讓我們深深地感受到了來自台灣特有的人情味。
而幾年後我也因有幸參與演出台灣的電影「KANO」，
獲得許多台灣朋友們的支持與愛護。
“有機會一定要回報這.恩情”，
這樣的想法一直盤據在心頭，
無論是現在或是未來也都不會改變。
《身為藝術創作者的我們，希望能以我們自己的方式，
透過作品表達對台灣朋友們的關懷與祝福》
秉持著上面所提到的概念，因而有了這個網路藝廊的設立，
獻給在這次台灣南部地震，與過去幾年重大災害中受到影響的朋友們。
在這裡也要誠摯地感謝認同這個創作概念，並提供作品的.位藝術家。
沒有才華洋溢的他們協助，這個網路藝廊就無法順利地架設完成。
最後，感謝.一位造訪這裡的朋友。
謹此獻上所有祝福與鼓勵給台灣的朋友們。

February 6th 2016, a powerful earthquake struck southern Taiwan, causing numerous casualties and widespread destruction.
People in Tainan particularly suffered
the most serious devastation among all disaster areas.
In Taiwan, several significant events such as typhoon damages,
food safety scandal, gas explosion in Kaohsiung, and water park explosion
in New Taipei City occurred in the past few years.
And these also make us recalled that there had been a difficult time in Japan.
Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011......
Considerable assistance and aid from Taiwanese people
were sent to Northeastern Japan immediately after it occurred. Besides substantial aid, people in Japan all were deeply impressed with the warm human taste from Taiwan.
Few years later, in the wake of my appearance in Taiwan film, "KANO", I have received lots of support from Taiwan as well.
“I would like to repay all their kindness someday.”
Such thinking has been in existence in my mind,
and it will never change even in the future.
《Each of us, as an artist, would like to show our concern and
good wishes to Taiwanese people in our own way by art creations.》 Based on aforementioned concept, we set up this web gallery
to the victims of major earthquake in southern Taiwan
and to the victims of all unfortunate events in the past few years.
I sincerely appreciate these talented artists for giving support to this project. Without their support, this web gallery could not be set up smoothly. Finally, thank you for visiting this web gallery.
